Monica Manuel is a psychotherapist and the Founder of Joie de Vivre Counseling and Therapy, LLC. She has a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling and has been in practice over 10 years with clinical experience ranging from private practice settings to college and university counseling centers. Monica is clinically licensed through the State of Georgia and Board Certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. Her postgraduate education includes doctoral training at Spelman College, Georgia State, and Georgia Tech Universities.
Monica's research and writing focuses on mental health and resilience in women, trauma, multicultural psychology, and anxiety and stress related issues.
